If you are flying into SeaTac to attend the 56th annual Northwest Philosophy Conference and you have a modicum of public transportation competence, you might want to forego the rental car.  The  Seattle Gray Line Airport Express provides cheap and convenient bus service between SeaTac airport and downtown Seattle.  From downtown Seattle, you can get to and from BCC via the Sound Transit 554 Express which leaves downtown on the half hour (roughly) from 2nd Ave.  Get off the 554 at the Eastgate Park and Ride, then walk north (away from the freeway) up the hill to BCC.
